Assessment

A friendly Walpole consultant will give you a call to assess your needs and answer any preliminary questions you may have about enterprise software. A few questions will be asked about your business to get a better understanding of why you are looking to migrate to a new business management solution and exactly what you are looking to improve.

Discovery Meeting

A meeting will be scheduled with a sales specialist and senior consultant to learn more about your business. Our senior consultants have met with hundreds of businesses like yours and will evaluate your business from an outside perspective. Many times our favorite part of the day is touring your shop/warehouse so we can see the process in action.

Are We a Good Fit?

Both during and after the discovery meeting, our staff reviews the information collected to see if we have a solution that fits your business needs. If we feel one of our supported solutions will help your business, we will identify the problems this system will solve. If we feel we are not the right fit, we will either introduce you to a solutions provider better suited for you or recommend another solution that will better fit your needs. We are not interested in selling just to sell. We want you to be a customer for life so will only work with companies we feel will succeed with our supported solutions.

We understand purchasing software to run your business is not a quick, impulsive decision. Businesses do their homework when it comes to finding a solution that fits their business needs. This one is pretty self-explanatory. We will give you an approximate price based on our understanding of your requirements to be sure expectations are set. Remember, these software solutions run your entire business from accounting to operations to sales and more. Plus you are getting the Walpole experience which includes our one of a kind support staff some of which used to work for Sage Software to configure the software to your needs.

Implementation Plan

ERP software is made for all different types of businesses and needs configuration to work with your processes and operations. Our implementation begins by creating what we call a conference pilot. We take our data and set up your own sandbox to play in, explore and learn. We then train your high-level users on the roles and processes they will use the most. We take this approach to ensure your own staff has internal support for the basic questions and problems. When we implement your software, we want it to be YOUR software. The end result is that when you go to the live system with one of our software solutions, you are confident, knowledgeable and ready to get the most out of your investment.

Proposal

Once the implementation plan has been created, a formal proposal will be presented for software and implementation. We like to charge a fixed fee price the implementation. This way, you know the services provided at the price presented. We have done hundreds of implementations and have found this is the best way to do business so you know the price upfront and there will only be additional charges if additional work is requested.
